The City Council, the Barcelona Provincial Council and Turisme de Barcelona have signed the Barcelona is much more programme with the aim of joining forces to decentralise the tourist offer by combining in the same offer the dynamism of urban tourism with the appeal of the beach and the mountains.

Along with high quality treatments at affordable prices, this makes the city "very competitive" when attracting patients from around the world.
