The Palacete Casades is a neo-classical style building in Barcelona’s Quadrat d’Or heritage quarter. It was built in 1883 and was a private residence until 1921. Since then it has been the home of the Illustrious Lawyers’ Association of Barcelona. With its rectangular floor plan, multicoloured marble colonnade and central courtyard covered with a skylight it is the perfect venue for dinners or presentations and complements the events being held in the auditorium.
The auditorium of the Lawyers’ Association is a surprisingly solemn space. It has a largestage which makes it extremely versatile. The auditorium hosts lectures, award ceremonies, plays and concerts.
The building also has a magnificent terrace that can be accessed directly from the art nouveau rooms, inside one of the characteristic blocks in Barcelona’s Eixample district.
